Museum Unbound is a pretty new blog, and we are trying to build a tiny team of bloggers. We are interested in people that have interesting things to say about pushing boundaries in the museum world.
If you have a project to share, something that you have created, participated in, or just found online, please contact me at museumunbound@gmail.com. I would love to have other people contribute to help build a community of people that are interested in this work!
Ashley Fairbanks is the creator of Museum Unbound. She is an EMP, working on developing a sweet new exhibit at the Minnesota Historical Society. She is also a social media coordinator and pretty great baker. Ashley got her B.A. in American Indian Studies and Political Science from the University of Minnesota. She is Ojibwe and an enrolled member at White Earth Reservation. She loves talking and teaching about Ojibwe history and culture.
Jodi Larson is a museum woman extraordinaire, working as a director of the Richfield Historical Society, and interpreter at Mill City Museum and doing whatever other museum work floats her boat. She completed her M.A. in History and Museum Studies at Tufts University in Boston.
