Why

Starting This Blog.

Last week I had the opportunity to go the the American Association of Museums conference right here in Minneapolis, MN.  It was four crazy days of sessions about a myriad of topics. But the topics I found most interesting were the ones that were a little more experimental. Despite the fact that I work in a large institution, developing and designing a traditional exhibit, I am interested in acts of radical what I am calling “culture-bombing”.

So who is this blog for?

Museum Professionals interested in the world beyond their walls.

Artists interested in using their art to decentralize knowledge.

People who like to think.

I decided to start this blog to build a catalog of inspiration. I hope it will function as such not just for me, but for other people interested in the work.
